10kV Switchgear Acceptance Test at 110kV Fujiapo Substation

Equipment Under Test:

61 Bay Switchgear (including 10kV vacuum circuit breaker, arrester, and transformer)

Instruments Used:

Test transformer, voltage regulator, cable reel, megohmmeter, DC resistance tester, switch mechanical characteristics tester, loop resistance tester, DC high voltage generator, relay protection tester, tool kit

GB50150-2006 – Electrical Equipment Handover Test Procedure

Key Challenge:

The relay protection test required coordination with the monitoring room and dispatching room to complete remote control and remote measurement objectives. This was not a simple standalone relay protection test.

Test Process and Results:

HKVTest conducted insulation resistance measurement, DC resistance measurement, loop resistance test, relay protection and secondary circuit test, and withstand voltage test on the 61 bay switchgear. The relay protection test was performed while communicating with the central monitoring and dispatching rooms to verify remote control and telemetry functions. Most tests passed successfully.

Final Conclusion:

HKVTest successfully completed the majority of the 61 bay switchgear tests under challenging coordination requirements with remote monitoring and dispatch systems. All completed tests passed the acceptance criteria.
