The TAG-8500 De-Energized Cable Phase Identification Tester is designed to identify and verify A, B, and C phase conductors of de-energized cables before commissioning or grid connection.

The system uses a transmitter to inject different pulse signals into the three-phase conductors and a receiver to identify the corresponding phase at the remote cable end. It is suitable for new cable installation, long-distance cable lines, switchgear, and pre-commissioning inspections.

Can TAG-8500 identify phases at the remote cable end?
