10KV Cable Line Phase Sequence Detection
Client: State Grid Jinzhai County Power Supply Company
Location: Jinzhai County, Anhui, China
Test Date: May 16, 2024 / Sunny / 28°C
Instrument: TAG-8800 Remote Wireless High Voltage Phase Tester
Service Provider: HKVTest

Test Method
Phase angles at both ends of each cable line were measured. A phase difference of less than 6 degrees between the same phases indicates consistent phase sequence.
Three 10KV lines were tested against the 110kV Jiangdian Substation as reference.

Line 1 – Gongyeyuan Line 15:
All within 6 degrees. Result: Phase sequence consistent.
Line 2 – KD18 Line:
Conclusion: Phase A is correct; Phase B and Phase C are reversed.
Line 3 – Jiangtian Line 16:
All within 6 degrees. Result: Phase sequence consistent.

Final Conclusion:
HKVTest successfully identified a phase reversal on KD18 Line (B and C phases reversed). The client was able to correct the wiring before energization, preventing a potential short circuit or equipment damage. The other two lines were confirmed correct.
