The VLF Cable Tan Delta Tester is a professional high-voltage diagnostic instrument designed for medium-voltage cable insulation testing. It integrates 0.1Hz very low frequency (VLF) AC withstand voltage testing and Tan Delta (dielectric loss) measurement in one system, allowing users to evaluate both cable insulation strength and insulation aging condition.
The system is suitable for XLPE, PE, and PILC cables, as well as underground power cables, helping detect insulation deterioration caused by aging, moisture ingress, and water tree degradation before cable failure occurs.
